In the context of the election of Germany to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in November 2011, the International Graduate School: Heritage Studies at Cottbus University organised in December 2011 the Think Tank in cooperation with international experts and professionals from the heritage field.

Feasibility Study - Implementation of the UNESCO-Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003) in Germany

The feasibility study illustrates the potential outcomes of ratifying the 2003 Convention in Germany and shows several possible ways of implementing the convention within institutions.
