Foreign educational credentials
- Inform yourself about the study programme, the admission requirements and the application deadlines.
Before sending in your application, please inform yourself carefully about the World Heritage Studies programme, the admission requirements and the documents that you must submit. Information can be obtained on the WHS website or at the International Office.
Should you have any questions regarding the admission requirements for the World Heritage Studies programme, please contact the Programme Coordinator at whs.coordinator[at]tu-cottbus.de. Concerning the application procedure for international students at BTU Cottbus, you can contact the Office for International Admissions at internationaladmission[at]tu-cottbus.de.
The application deadline for the subsequent Fall/ Winter semester is the 15th of July for non-EU citizens and the 31st of August for EU citizens. Applications for the Summer Semester are not possible. - Download and fill in the WHS Application Form.

here. - Make sure you have authenticated copies and translations (English or German) of your academic records.
When applying for admission, you always have to attach all certificates documenting your qualifications stated in the application form. Please note that only authenticated copies and translations (English or German) are accepted. More information
here. - Create an account with Uni-Assist and fill in the online application form.
When applying for admission, you need an "Application Form for Admission to Studies for Foreign Applicants", which you have to fill in completely and send together with the rest of your application documents to uni-assist. You can use uni-assist's online application service to fill out this form on your computer, print it out and save it permanently to disk for future use/reference. The application form can also be downloaded here. Do not forget so sign the form! - Transfer the processing fee to Uni-Assist.

After collecting all required documents and paying the processing fee, send your application to Uni-Assist:

Please be aware that your application will be processed only if you have submitted ALL required documents. - Wait for a message from Uni-Assist.
As soon as your application documents and processing fee have been received, Uni-Assist will begin processing your application. It usually takes about four to six weeks to inform you of the result of the processing. - Uni-Assist will forward your application file to BTU Cottbus.
- The World Heritage Studies Admission Board will carefully examine all applications and select the most suitable candidates.
- Applicants will be informed about the results of the selection process. Successful candidates will receive an official admission letter from BTU Cottbus.
