German educational credentials

  • Application is only possible between 15.05. and 15.07.

  • Inform yourself about the study programme, the admission requirements and the application deadlines.
    Before sending in your application, please inform yourself carefully about the World Heritage Studies programme, the admission requirements and the documents that you must submit. Information can be obtained on the WHS website or on the BTU website.
    Should you have any questions regarding the admission requirements for the World Heritage Studies programme, please contact the Programme Coordinator at whs.coordinator[at]tu-cottbus.de. Concerning the application procedure for students with German educational credentials at BTU Cottbus, you can directly contact the Student Affairs Office.
    The application deadline for the subsequent Fall/ Winter semester is 15 July. Applications for the Summer Semester are not possible. Missing documents can be submitted until 15 July.

  • Download and fill in the WHS Application Form.

  • Gather all documents required for application.

  • Fill in the online Application Form.
    The online application form will be available  here during the above mentioned application period.

  • Send all the required documents to BTU Cottbus.
    After collecting all required documents, send them to the following address:

    Please be aware that you need all necessary documents in order to submit a complete application.

  • The World Heritage Studies Admission Board will carefully examine all applications and select the most suitable candidates.

  • Applicants will be informed about the results of the selection process. Successful candidates will receive and official admission letter from BTU Cottbus.
