INTERNSHIPS

 Students are encouraged to complete a practical internship in a German or an international heritage related institution during the course of their studies. 

Students themselves are responsible for finding internship opportunities and for submitting applications. Although not directly responsible for WH internships, the Internship Office (Praktikumsamt) of Faculty 2 and the study programme will provide help and advice for students seeking internship opportunities.

World Heritage Students have completed internships in institutions such as:

• UNESCO World Heritage Centre Paris

• UNESCO World Heritage Site Regensburg

• UNESCO Regional Centre Bangkok

• UNESCO World Heritage Site Quedlinburg

• UNESCO National Commission Austria in Vienna

• UN-HABITAT, Nairobi
