DAAD-Prize for outstanding achievements of foreign students at German universities
The international students at our institutions of higher education enrich the higher education world both culturally and academically. In recognition of this fact, the DAAD-Prize is awarded annually to foreign students, who graduate from institutions of higher education in the Federal Republic of Germany and who excel in their academic achievement and show a notable social and intercultural commitment.
Since 1995 BTU Cottbus awards a prize, which is financed by the DAAD, at the annual grand opening of the new academic year.
Ahmed Elnaggar received the DAAD-Prize at the annual grand opening of the new academic year 2011/2012 from BTU president Prof. Dr. Walther Ch. Zimmerli
