International students at BTU Cottbus who would like to change their study programme need to apply for the programme change at the International Office. 

Please present the following documents, being aware of the deadlines:

1. Filled-out and signed  International Students: Changing Your Study Programme Application Form

2. Current Transcript of Records

Important Deadlines

If you want to start a new study programme in the Winter Semester:
Apply by July 15 (for programmes with restricted admission)

If you want to start a new study programme in the Summer Semester:
Apply by January 15 (for programmes with restricted admission)


After a review of your application by the International Office and the examination board of the study programme for which you are applying, the International Office will inform you in written form of the results of your request.

If your request receives approval from the university, then you still need to get consent from the Foreigner's Office before enroling in the new study programme.
