Scholarship offers for international BTU students
The BTU Cottbus does not charge tuition fees and therefore the BTU has only a limited number of scholarships available for international students.
The International Office is nevertheless pleased to be able to grant a limited number of scholarships for foreign students.
Additional financial support for foreign students is also available from other sources.
STIBET - Programme
1.Scholarships for completion of studies
Scholarships for completion of studies aim to support international students during their final exams. A selection committee will select candidates according to their financial need. A strong academic history is required and an above average final grade is expected. (Maximum duration of scholarship: 6 months)
2. Scholarships involving tutorial work
To receive this scholarship you will have to do some tutorial work at the university from 2 to 4 hours per week. This can include: tutorial supervision of international students, linguistic tandem cooperation, cooperation in cultural affairs, international events, cultural exhibitions etc.

Scholarships in Framework of the Women’s Advancement Initiative
The female professor programme is awarding scholarships to international female students for the time period 2011-2015 with the goal of advancing women and especially women with familial responsibilities. The female professor programme has the goal of sustainably improving the equal opportunity of women in all levels of the academic system and to increase the number of female academics in top scientific positions.
International female students:
A new call for applicants is planned for June 2012.
