The German Academic Exchange Service also offers many regional programmes and special programmes for cooperations with developing countries. A complete overview of DAAD announcements in the area of project funding can be found  here.

It is also often possible to receive funding from foundations. The  Stiftungsindex (foundation index) can provide more information on this.

Individual Funding

Likewise possible at an international university is the chance for immobile students to experience internationality during their studies. This can occur, for example, by way of lectures being held in English by international guest lecturers. BTU supports the procurement of guest lecturers for all programmes, including the programmes specifically stated in the information sheet.

  • The DAAD  scholarship database makes it possible to search for individual funding opportunities according to field of study, destination country, and status.
