BTU students can also do an internship abroad. A mandatory internship as well as a voluntary internship can be made at BTU.

In some study courses an internship is part of the curriculum and can also be completed abroad.

The time you need for the preparation is not as long as a study semester abroad. Duration and date are also more flexible. An internship abroad can be integrated into your study at different times.

ERASMUS Internship

The ERASMUS Student Mobility for Placements programme is part of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. Financial support in the amount of 400 Euros per month is given to students who participate for a length of time from 3 to 12 months in internships abroad within Europe.

LEONARDO da Vinci Internship

The LEONARDO DA VINCI programme is part of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. University graduates participating in internships abroad within Europe for a length of time from 13 to 26 weeks are given financial support in the amount of 500-1,000 Euros per month, depending on the cost of living in the guest country.

IAESTE

International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE)  is the world largest intern exchange organisation for students, who study natural science, engineering, or agriculture and forestry.
