Max-Grünebaum-Foundation

Foundation

In May 1997 Max Gruenebaum’s grandchildren, who live in England, founded the Max Gruenebaum Foundation. Their aim is to remind people of the social commitment of their grandfather (1851 – 1925), who was a cloth manufacturer, counsellor of commerce, and honorary citizen of Cottbus, and who financially supported the construction of the Cottbus State Theatre and created social facilities for his workers and the citizens of Cottbus.

Detailed information on the foundation can be found on the Internet at  http://www.max-gruenebaum-stiftung.de/
