Information for Schoolchildren and Secondary School Students
Our Discover-Research-Knowledge project offers numerous interesting options to school children of all ages; they learn about our university and the possibility of studying here after they finish secondary school.
We present specially prepared lectures during our KinderCampus (Campus for Kids), in which we seek to stimulate and strengthen the thirst for knowledge and curiosity of 6 - 12 year old children with regard to exciting and practical science topics.
The SchuelerCampus (Campus for Schoolchildren) focuses on 13 - 16 years olds, who learn about scientific and technical topics, helping them to improve their scientific abilities and skills.
The AbiCampus (Secondary School Graduates’ Campus) invites secondary school graduates and other prospective students to take part in our Student-for-a-Day Programme, which is tailored to helping them choose an academic field that is right for them. We organise scientific internships and laboratory work to broaden students’ school knowledge. Our Early University programme gives secondary school students a taste of university level academics and lets them earn credit points for individual modules, which will be recognised if they actually enrol in the BTU.
