Introduction

Ladies and gentlemen,

We believe that modern, efficient universities are an invaluable investment for future generations. Universities are no longer solely state-funded, they also increasingly require financial support from private initiatives. The association ‘Friends of the Brandenburg University of Technology’ is firmly dedicated to the objective of winning support for the university. The following is a brief summary of our guiding principles, as well as the challenges we face and projects we support.

What are our objectives:

  • integrating the university into the public life of our city and region
  • contributing to making the university a reflection of society at large
  • actively promoting the university’s social and cultural endeavours
  • helping students in their transition from the university to the job market
  • promoting and strengthening bonding between our students/alumni and the university
  • supporting the BTU in every way possible
