CEBra Ltd.

An enterprise for project development and technology transfer.

Liberalization, climate protection and security of supply compose the external basic conditions in which markets for energy sources and their conversion technologies develop further. Therefore, better market chances receive those enterprises, which attempt to reduce energy demand, make the usage more efficient and offer the usage of renewable energy sources to more competitive prices.

CEBra GmbH was founded with the aim to make a better usage of these chances through the mutual cooperation between the research divisions at CEBra-Research and innovative enterprises, through a transfer of the research results into practice and their subsequent adoption for regional development.

The main tasks of CEBra GmbH are the existing know-how from areas such as recultivation, power plant engineering, decentralized energy management, bioenergy conversion and the further oriented urban development.

The first business groundwork could be done with the support of the Brandenburg Ministry of Economics and the ZukunftsAgentur Brandenburg. The Centre Wood Energy Eberswalde emerged from the Interreg project Bioenergy Technology Transfer Network; the centre acts as a liaison body and maintains close cooperation contacts with the University of Applied Science in Eberswalde.

Experience gained by the managing director in the course of 10 years of involvement within the European Energy Network and his long standing relations could be utilized for the projects acquisition in Brussels.

Especially in the field of regional development CEBra GmbH has established itself very strongly. Bioenergy offers considerable changes for the future of rural areas, when agriculture and silviculture overcome their role as mere suppliers of raw materials and become producers of energy carriers and services. The range of CEBra competency can play an important role in relation to this.
