Architektur.Studium.Generale (Master of Science)
Architektur.Studium.Generale is a 2 year master‘s programme of interdisciplinary workshops at eight european universities. The programme is structured around a series of project-based workshops, classes and courses focussing contemporary urban, architectural and structural topics as well as artistic strategies at the participating higher education institutions: University of Innsbruck, Tallinn University of Technology, École National Supérieure d’Architecture de Marseille, Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus, Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design Kiel, Tel Aviv University, Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Universidad de Sevilla, Wrocław, University of Technology and University of the Arts Berlin.
The Architektur.Studium.Generale programme is a 2 year full time postgraduate course. Admission requires min. a Bachelor Degree in architecture or related degrees (e.g. urban planning, landscape architecture, art, engineering, theory), ECTS grade „A“, and min. 1 year of working experience. Language skills: English CAE, CPE, TOEFL or equivalent. Portfolio.
Successful graduates will receive a Master of Science degree (M.Sc.). Current Tuition fees are 1.800€ per semester plus BTU semester fees for administration and the obligatory semester ticket for public transport in Brandenburg and Berlin. Scholarships can be awarded.
The programme has started in winter 2010/11. It was initiated at BTU in 2010 by Dr.-Ing. Dagmar Jäger / jp3.de, and lead by her until 2012. Since 2013 V.-Prof. Jens Casper Dipl.-Ing. Architekt BDA is heading the course.
