The Chairs of the IBK organise a joint lecture series that examines a number of topics. They invite scientists from universities and extramural research facilities who, as a rule, are conducting practical work in research fields similar to those of the IBK. In this way, BTU students and scientists have direct access to information about new developments and advances generated by building archaeology.
The ‘DerDieDas’ series attracts expert lecturers from the fields of architecture, urban planning / urban development.
While classes are in session, these events take place each Wednesday at 6 pm in Lecture Hall 3 of the BTU Cottbus.
Building Technology Seminar
In the context of the SKI lecture series, each year renowned engineers who both plan and implement innovative projects present a lecture on interesting and ongoing projects in the field of structural engineering. All university members and interested persons from the Cottbus area are welcome to attend this event. Several links 
The Chairs of the degree programmes Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning present their latest research advances. The event is held in the drawing studio of Lecture Hall 2c ground floor. The seminar is held each Wednesday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Das Kolloquium Verkehrsplanung und Bahntechnik ist der organisatorische Rahmen für eine Folge von Vortragsthemen, mit denen auf bedeutende und aktuelle Projekte des Verkehrswesens aufmerksam gemacht und zu denen ein universitäres Diskussionsforum angeboten wird.
