Through initiating its internationally focussed Professional Course D, the BTU Cottbus is laying the foundation for a cross-border approach to educating and professionally training our young people. Moreover, by linking them more closely to research and teaching endeavours we have significantly expanded all existing national and international courses in an interdisciplinary way, while improving them in terms of academic quality. The BTU’s comprehensive teaching and research concept concerning the use of regenerative and fossil natural resources is unique to Germany, thereby making our university more attractive to students from the region, from other German states and particularly for international students. We aim to sustainably generate excellently trained young scientists who can make contributions to national and international companies.
