BIEM at BTU Cottbus
"BIEM at BTU Cottbus" is the academic entrepreneurship institute at the Brandenburg University of Technology. We focus on supporting and developing startups and entrepreneurship out of our technical university and science.
In the long run we expect hereby substantial contributions and effects for the university, the city of Cottbus an the Federal State of Brandenburg as an innovative, creative and entrepreneurial location for science, business and living.
We offer and integrate services along all phases of starting up a business, even into the early stages of young businesses. Our services are tailored, sometimes selective and specialized, but not narrow.
We are part of the 
Brandenburg Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises ((located in Potsdam).
Our activities are based on four pillars:
- Services for business start-ups and for entrepreneurs
- Entrepreneurship training and education
- Entrepreneurship research
- Networking for entrepreneurs.
