Business Administration – Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor programme Business Administration was first introduced for the winter semester 2007/2008. This programme leads to an academic degree - Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - and is the newest study programme offered by the BTU Cottbus. It aims to purposefully prepare students for career challenges, as well as subsequent advanced Master programmes. The consecutive Masters study programme model was started for the 2008/2009 winter semester.

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA): much sought after all-rounders
In particular, BBAs analyse businesses and how they are structured and managed. They analyse the efficiency and profitability of a company and seek to improve them on the basis of various operation indices and sales data, resources, operational procedures, staff and customer satisfaction.
Because of these diverse areas of professional focus, graduates have excellent opportunities on the job market. Other possible employment areas include company finance and accounting systems, as well as personnel or business consultancies, in addition to positions in industry and commerce and even starting their own companies.
