International Postgraduate Studies in Water Technologies (IPSWaT)
IPSWaT is a scholarship programme from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
The programme aims to support outstandingly qualified students and young scientists from Germany and abroud in attending German universities to acquire Master's degrees that are international in outlook, related to water technologies, and - as a rule - taught in English.
The aim of the programme is to develop long-term international scientific and economic contacts in the water sector.
The ERM Master Programme is accredited within the IPSWaT scholarship programme and therefore applicants for the ERM Master Programme can apply for the IPSWaT scholarship. PhD cancidates can be nominated by all German universities.
Application
Excellent applicants for the ERM Master and PhD programme with a strong focus and experiences in the water or wastewater sector may apply for IPSWaT scholarship.
Call for application is usually in February and September each year. Please visit regularly for updated information about deadlines and requirements.
Call for application until February 20th 2012
All applicants for the ERM and EuroAquae Master programme at BTU Cottbus who plan to do a water related research are welcome to apply for the IPSWaT scholarship. The deadline to hand in your complete application is February 20th 2012.
It is necessary that the application documents for the Master programme are already submitted before handing in an appliction for the IPSWaT scholarship in order to ensure your suitability for the Master programme.
