Biological Collection

A biological collection is present at the chair. Its main function is the supply of demonstration material for systematic-taxonomic practices, etc.
The following collection are present or are being extended:
1. Collection of Insects, in general
2. Collection of all beetles species
3. special collection of ground beetles
4. Collection of mussel and snail shells
5. Herbarium, Wiegleb (especially water plants)
6. slide series and videos, digital recordings
7. microscopic preparations
8.  random other things

The collection is maintained complying to all premises of nature and animal protection.
