Registration to myBTU learning portal

Your first Login requires your registration at the myBTU Learnportal.

Your registration will be generated automatically by BTU Cottbus: all students get their "username" and "password" by email on time at the beginning of the program.

If you don't get your registration data please refer to contact.

 

Normaly this registration is available at the homepage of mybtu Learning Portal, and requires a currently active  BTU-Account (please check before).

Systemcheck of your internet browser

Before you try first time to login to myBTU learning portal you should check your internet browser. At the top of the homepage you find a system check button (see also the picture below).Please also read at first more about the compatibility of your internet browser to myBTU learning portal:

Supported internet browsers:

Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or higher, Mozilla Firefox Version 2.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator 7.1 or higher, Safari (Apple)

Browser configuration:

JavaScript must be activated, Java activated is recommended.

Available Plug-Ins in your browser:

Shockwave Director, Real-Player, Shockwave Flash, Windows Media Player, Acrobat Reader.

Please note, that not all Plug-ins need to be installed. Otherside may be, that some learning content cant't used (e.g. Flash-Animations),

Systemconfiguration of your computer:

The minimum monitor resolution is 1024x768 pixels. The recommended color depth is 'High Color' (16 Bit or higher)

Login

After the registration you can login.The steps to login to myBTU are (see also the picture below):

  • Visit the homepage of the eLearning portal mybtu at http://www.tu-cottbus.de/lernportal
  • In the login-area at the left side of the homepage you can login:
    1. Choose your language (English)
    2. Type yor Login Name
    3. Type your Password
    4. Enter the Login-Button

FAQ

I got no registration to use myBTU learning portal

Please contact us again to check this fact. Normally the students at BTU Cottbus get a registration to login on time their immatriculation.

I can't login myself

Please check the error message: "Sorry, the system could not authenticate you. Please enter your login name and password. (Error code: PRS0003)".
This means, that you should check your correct username and password to login. Otherwise please contact us.

The system check doesn't work

Please check your brwoser configuration: enable Pop-up windows must be set to 'active'.
