The main focus of this workshop is on understanding the dominant ecosystem processes as a prerequisite for predicting discharge from a catchment. We invite the owners/authors of catchment-scale models to make use of the unique data base of this hydrologically well-defined catchment. The models will/should differ conceptually and reflect the spectrum of today’s models suitable for predicting ungauged catchments. Ultimately, we intend to identify the backbone information (on processes) needed for making predictions.
